Mind blown again!
If you take in account that Super Mario Bros. 2 all takes place in Mario’s dream, it would seem that there was only one Mario game for the NES that actually occurred (although you start THAT game out by chomping down on a mushroom). Super Mario Bros. 3 is indeed a play which make sense once you think about all the different theatrical suits Mario dons and the closed curtain ending.

Very cool concept. However, lets be honest, technically none of the Mario Bros games actually “happened” because, well, THEY’RE FUCKING VIDEO GAMES. No single video game is any more “real” than the other. Mario has NEVER been in any “real danger” because HE’S AN 8 BIT VIDEO GAME CHARACTER.
That being said, the thought that its all a production is pretty awesome.
Sombody pissed in Greg’s cheerios.
