So Michael Moore, director of the anti-gun “Bowling For Columbine”, curiously uses MIA’s “Paper Planes”, known for its gunshot-laden refrain, in the promo for his newest movie. Jackassery at its finest.

I noticed that too, but wondered if he has creative control over promotional materials…?
If Moore’s film was being released by a huge Hollywood conglomerate, I might say he doesn’t. I just noticed that the he uses another song in the original teaser trailer put out two weeks ago.
Oh, and to the person who says “Paper Planes” doesn’t “glorify gun violence,”: I didn’t say it did. But the lyrics go
All I wanna do
BANG BANG BANG BANG
and
(SFX: gun being cocked)
and take your money
So, if that isn’t glorifying gun violence, then what the hell is?
