*I’m assuming as these gatherings were at public parks, their tax dollars go to paying to pick up after them—another irony they’ll miss.

as i rode by the mall yesterday i shouted out the window “YOU’RE WELCOME FOR ALL OF THE PUBLIC ROADS, PUBLIC PARKS AND PUBLIC POLICE PROTECTION FOR YOUR DEMONSTRATION.”
which i thought was much nicer than things shouted at war protesters.
